A 30 minute treatment will run you about $80 to help create tighter, younger, clear and vibrant genital skin appearance by boosting collagen. Manchester beauty spa promotes it as a way to lift the endorphin levels and sex drive. According to the Ainscow Hotel spa: “When the sub-zero temperature covers the skin, the sudden drop in heat stimulates the temperature receptors, prompting the brain to transmit messages throughout the body so the blood vessels undergo vasoconstriction. This produces a quicker blood flow and ramps up endorphin levels, generating a natural high.”
Should you consider it
While normally we are all for trying strange new things, this is one you should probably pass on. Gynecological Cryogenics is normally employed by a doctor, not spa staff. However if that alone isn’t enough to make you pause just wait there’s more when your scrotum or labia are exposed to temperatures of -20 degrees Celsius for as little as one minute the cells undergo cryonecrosis. That means at -20 there is extracellular and intracellular crystallization, dehydration, thermal shock, vascular stasis, and denaturation of proteins. Love mist treatments use temperatures as low as -160 degrees Celsius which means less likely hood of enhanced orgasms and much higher risk of damaged skin, frost bitten bits, discharge, and painful healing skin.
