Saturday’s are for all things sex related that make you go “huh?” Thanks to all the extra time the pandemic has provided many people, there are tons of sex terms being brought to everyone’s attention. This week’s strange sex Saturday is all about Coronalingus. According to Urbandictionary coronalingus has a number of different definitions from just sex during the pandemic to “When a person has been infected with Covid-19, Coronalingus is the act of putting one’s mouth between a woman’s labia minora, creating a seal between the mouth and vagina, and performing one’s best dry corona cough.” We are here to help make sure you know exactly what someone means if they ask for some coronalingus.
Is it safe?
According to Nan Wise, PhD, sex therapist, neuroscientist, and the author of Why Good Sex Matters. It is pretty difficult to engage in coronalingus, cunnalingus, or any other linguses in between without getting within six feet of another person. “And it’s not realistic to think people are going to wear masks through love making.”
What is it really?
Corona is pretty self-explanatory, “lingus” comes from the Latin word lingere, “to lick.” So someone’s test results don’t really come into play here. It is essentially just oral sex during COVID-19 as a safer alternative to traditional penetration. Oral sex obviously has its own risks, but when the mood strikes, thoughts of a pandemic may fly right out of your head. So in order to keep safe, but have as much fun as possible, take advantage of the trend while it lasts.
Coronalingus should be taken seriously, but it still can be pretty hot. As a rule of thumb, masturbation is the safest way to get off during the pandemic. We will see you next Saturday for more strange sex adventures!
