Are you burned out from all the holiday sex? Well don’t worry, Saturdays may be all about exploring the stranger sides of sex and sexuality, but that doesn’t always mean actual sex! To give us all a break to rehydrate and recover this week’s strange sex Saturday is all about chastity play.
What is Chastity Play
Chastity play is an emotional intimacy enhancement tool that increases sexual tension and focus in your relationship. Also called chastity, or caging, it is a type of intimacy enhancement between two consenting adults. Typically, it requires a Keyholder, someone who desires to be keyheld, and a chastity device. Unlike celibacy, chastity is the highly erotic application of sexual restraint. It enhances the intimacy and bond shared in a relationship. However, it does not require that you eliminate intercourse from the relationship altogether.

How does it work
Chastity play is a form of orgasm control. Orgasm control is exactly as it sounds. The Keyholder controls the sexual pleasure and release of the keyheld. The Keyholder, may have all the pleasure they want, however they want, as often and as long as they want. The only one restricted during chastity play is the keyheld. The keyholder locks their partner in a device to prevent them from becoming fully aroused so that once they are finally freed, they will be unable to control their full desire. This form of chastity play can add an intense new level of fun to your bedroom antics. Devices most suitable for this type of play are harnesses, waist belts and metal cages. However, some couples prefer a less stringent game and enjoy using the honor system without a device.
Please remember that keyholding is never an excuse for neglect. Chastity play should always be practiced safely and consensually. We will see you next week while we explore more of the “stranger” sides of sex and sexuality.
