British designer Hayat Rachi had had enough of buying lingerie that looked great on models but did nothing for her “real life” figure. So she took matters into her own hands. Her brand, Neon Moon, is making women everywhere actually enjoy hanging out in their underwear. Don’t worry about missing the slinky see through barely there fabrics of the past. A good look at these, and how they make your woman feel, will have you thanking her too.

Her KickStarter page describes her line as a British feminist lingerie brand that’s empowering women in all phases of womanhood. She focuses on providing intimate garments that are designed more for comfort and confidence than for sex appeal.
Rachi is so dedicated to her line of “nonconformist” lingerie that she has put her life savings into creating it. On top of that, her Kickstarter campaign put her thousands past her original goal. With a huge show of support from New Girl creator and star Zooey Deschanel. However Zooey was not alone, Rachi has also received significant support from men, women, and transgendered people across the globe.

The line is all about embracing yourself, and all your imperfections. There is no padding or underwire in the lingerie. It’s made of a comfortable bamboo material, which is designed to fit your body, rather than mold your body to fit it.

In her campaign video Rachi says “there’s a very narrow standard of beauty in today’s society and Neon Moon is set on changing the lingerie industry for the better.” If the super sexy and colorful styles in her current collection are what she has in mind we can’t wait to see what else the line holds in the future. SO keep an eye out, and definitely try some for yourself. After all, what’s sexier than feeling comfortable in your own skin?
